This year we went to Brazil for Akshar’s birthday. I’ve never seen so many weird and wonderful flora and fauna. Everyone was so lovely (and hot!!), and there was bright, loud, a-punch-in-your-face colorful art around every corner. Brazillians give a real middle finger to minimalism.
We spent his actual birthday in Inhotim which is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been— a gigantic (!!) botanical garden with very impressive art installations around every corner. I made these pieces while I was there and I really love how much they remind me of being in Brazil. Cheers!
